Can someone help me with this science questions about energy in the ecosystem?
energy flows through an ecosystem. The biomass, and thus the energy available in the ecosystem decreases as you move u p from the trophic level of a producer to a secondary consumer. Why does the amount of available energy decrease?

renewable energy: solar, cells, or biomass?
We need to install a small system that is able to produce at least 1MW/h of electrical energy.
It does not matter if it’s solar panels (active systems only), biomass, or fuel cells, as far as it’s able to produce the required amount of energy.
Please let me know any good company or a website at

As Alternative Energy, which would be Energy Cost Effective – Biomass Rice Hull (RH) or Carbonized RH? ?
In the Philippines, the use of Rice Hull (a By-product in Rice Milling) is beginning to be popular among factories wanting to cut Energy Cost by way of Co-generation. Hence, I ask the question: Would partially burnt "Carbonized" Rice Hull (CRH) be more Energy Cost Efficient than "raw" Rice Hull used as Biomass to fire [...]

here is the full question:
Explain why the energy that is not transferred at each level cannot be picked up by plants and cycled back through the system in the same way that atoms and molecules are cycled.
